Prevent Medical Errors in NJ Group Homes: Help Us Support A5416

Disabled group home residents are especially vulnerable to medication errors. Many can't say "where's my blue pill?" or "I already took my lunch time medications." Many can't say "What's going on I feel funny?" And many are on complex medication regimens to treat multiple and complex medical issues.

Medical errors can also be expensive, potentially resulting in hospitalizations and worse.

So why are medical safeguards better for NJ prisoners than NJ's most vulnerable disabled citizens living in group homes? The answer is they shouldn't be. Please reach out to your state assembly representative and ask them to support -- or even co-sponsor -- A5416
